How and where a 13W Dimmable LED Downlight is used commercially and residentially

Lighting is one of those things that can make or break a space. No matter how nicely you decorate your home, incorporate designer furniture and what not, if the lighting is not good, the whole vibe of the room will seem off. The light needs to be set in the end keeping the aesthetic of the room in mind and the atmosphere and feel you are looking to create. A 13W Dimmable Downlight is the perfect light to be used in any room of the house. Not only that but downlights prove to do exceedingly well in commercial settings as well.

The primary reason for downlight being so popular nowadays is that contrary to its opposite i.e. spot light, a downlight disperses light quite evenly. Owing to its even and broad dispersion it is the choice of light for interior designers to use in larger areas. In commercial areas it is used exceedingly in office spaces, factories, hospitals and other areas which need even and maximum dispersion of light. Unlike light bulbs and other types of lights, these can be spaced out more and used sparingly without compromising on brightness.

While in most commercial settings, the choice of colour for lighting is white or off white, at homes or in offices the lighting can and should be somewhat different. The use of white lights in these places is primarily because it makes people more productive and energetic. In bedrooms, white light is generally avoided because of the same reasons as it can interrupt and disrupt your sleep and sleeping pattern respectively. Blue light also falls in the same category and can hinder you from falling asleep. It keeps the brain active which is why it is advised to not use one’s phone at night right about at bedtime so you may easily fall asleep.

Let us now discuss what type of lights may work best in certain areas of a home.
Starting from the hallway or the corridor, a single 13W dimmable LED downlight will work perfectly fine placed in the middle. Because of its excellent dispersion the whole hallway will be illuminated and the LED which produces the light saves up energy as well. Using LED though may be a little expensive when buying but they do tend to lower your electricity bills. The dimming factor will work amazingly in the hallway because at night, not everyone appreciates a brightly lit hallway. Dimming the light to just enough intensity that everything is illuminated and it is not offensively harsh is a good mid-point.

Moving onto the sitting room, this needs to be a fairly well lit room. The amount of light may be standard but the colour of the light should be yellow, golden. Light yellow and golden light has a calming and relaxing effect on humans and you definitely want your guests to feel at ease at your place. The whole house in my opinion needs to be incorporated with golden or yellow light instead of white because yellow light simply put just makes the whole atmosphere look different.

In your bedroom you might only need a single or double LED lights if you want a brightly lit room. To be able to relax you can dim the lights down and when getting ready to go somewhere, you can rack the light up to get a perfect makeup application.
